I received the following email from Terry.  I think it is a wonderful tribute to Jerry.
I served in Vietnam with Sgt. White from March 1969 till his departure in Dec 1969. It was an honor and a privilege. Awhile after Sgt. White left the field, I was given the "point man" job. I used things I learned from him to help keep me and the guys with me alive. There is no way to properly thank him for putting everyone else and their safety first, and setting the best example for others to follow and stay alive under the extreme conditions of war.
